We provide a free quotation service for all repairs.

Guideline Prices for general repairs are:

Initial inspection of faulty locomotive and report  £  6.50
General service to any locomotive                         £14.00 excluding parts
Replacement Brushes and Springs Ringfield      £10.75 inc parts
Replacement Brushes Hornby & Triang               £12.50 inc parts
Replacement Magnets to Hornby Dublo Locos   £14.00 including magnet
Hourly rate for repairs / problem solving               £14.00

Hornby 0 Gauge repairs to clockwork springs     £18.75 (reusing existing)
Second hand clockwork motors             From       £28.00
Replacement wheels (second hand originals)     £ 5.50 each
Hornby clockwork keys (original)            From      £ 6.00 each

We also supply parts for your own fitting - please email for quote stating your requirements.

As soon as you have agreed our charges the item should be posted to us.

On completion of the repair we return the item to you with our invoice. There is no packing charge only the Post Office charge for postage back to you.

Payment is requested by return following your complete satisfaction with the repair.

Payment can be made by cheque, postal order or via Paypal

Please note that as from 1st January 2009 'n' and 'z' gauges are excluded from our repair service due to difficulty in acquiring spare parts. We apologise for this break in service and trust that we can continue with these gauges in the near future.
